Feel free to check in anytime after 3 PM on the day of your arrival! Check-out is at 10 AM on the day of departure.
Early Check-In & Late Check-Out: Our busy cleaning schedules mean we typically can’t accommodate many early check-ins or late check-outs. If you’re in the area early, let us know and we’ll send you some fun recommendations in town, then we’ll give you a heads-up when your room is clean.

Our check-in process is contactless, so go ahead and check right into your cabin after your 3 PM arrival using the information sent to you by email.
We send check-in details a few days before arrival, and door codes on the day of arrival.

Yep! Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring anything in tow so that we can reserve a space in our main parking lot. Our trailer parking spots are the two elongated spots right in the middle of our main parking lot.

Yep! We have a self-serve supply room located on the bottom floor (where the “office” used to be) with lots of goodies to use during your stay. Supplies include extra toiletries, DVDs, books, coffee, and more. Please return any non-disposables to the supply room when you’re finished.
Everything else you should be able to find in town at the June Lake General Store.

WiFi: While we do offer WiFi (and have a backup network in case of outages), we’re still in a small mountain town, which means our WiFi signal can be spotty. We don’t recommend planning to Zoom into any important meetings on-site but let us know if you need any recommendations on local co-working or WiFi spots.
Cell: We have strong cell service at the property as well, but the service can be spotty heading into June Lake, so we recommend pulling up your check-in information before arriving at the property.

We are about 30 minutes away from the eastern entrance of Yosemite National Park (the Tioga Pass Entrance). Please note that the Tioga Pass Entrance closes seasonally, roughly from October or November through late May (though it varies by year). During that time, it is not possible to enter Yosemite from the east side of the park.
Check out the Yosemite National Park website for information on closures and construction that may impact driving times into Yosemite.

Bears live in our neck of the woods and occasionally visit our lot. Please secure all trash in the bear-proof dumpster and latch it when you're all set, and make sure to bring all human/pet food indoors. Thanks for your help keeping our critters safe!

If you’re staying in a pet-friendly room (#1-7 and #16) and plan to bring your dog along, please give us a heads-up and read through, agree to, and share our pet policy with your group upon booking. $20/dog/night (two max).

Please carefully read our cancellation policy prior to booking. If you have any questions about these policies, please give us a call! To save any misunderstanding, we would be grateful if you can observe the following:
Refundable (Flexible) Rate Reservations:We will collect a valid credit card at the time the reservation is made
Reservations can be cancelled or modified with no penalty or fee up until 72 hours before your check-in (3pm local time at the hotel, 3 days before your check-in date) at which time the reservation will be charged in full to the card on file
No modifications or refunds for cancellation will be permitted within 72 hours of your check-in time
Non-Refundable (Discounted) Rate Reservations:
Your credit card will be charged in full for the reservation 24 hours after booking
You may modify your dates, cabin or room, and other reservation details for a modified stay of equal or greater value, up until 60 days prior to your arrival date (rate difference to be paid at time of modification), valid at any of our locations, reservations made within 60 days of check-in may not be eligible for modification
The reservation is not otherwise eligible for modification or refund
No-shows are charged in full and non-refundable.
To cancel or request a modification to your stay: Please email us your cancellation request at info@snowcatcabins.com or call us at 406-558-4534. We'll confirm your cancellation via email after the reservation has been cancelled.
Travelers Insurance: Life happens, and trips to the mountains can be unpredictable. We highly recommend adding travelers’ insurance to your reservation if you book a non-refundable rate either through a third party booking site (like Expedia or Booking.com) or with Spot Trip Insurance if you are booking with us directly—it’s an easy and affordable way to cover up to 100% reimbursement on all of your trip expenditures for unexpected life events that result in cancellation (like illness, natural disasters, jury duty, job requirements, and more) Check out https://www.getspot.com/trip-affiliates/field-guide for full terms, conditions, exclusions, and details. -

Reservations with approved dog(s) will also have a pet fee ($20 per dog per night).

All of our rooms are smoke-free, including balconies, patios, our parking lot, and any communal outdoor areas.
Smokers, please stick to the strip along Bruce Street (20’ away from buildings and other guests). Always dispose of butts in the green disposal bins and never on the ground for fire safety.
We’re in an extremely fire-prone area, so YOU MUST fully extinguish and dispose of butts and ashes in the dumpster off the main lot, and never let a butt touch the ground.

Quiet Hours: Our walls are old and thin, so between 10 PM and 8 AM, please be sure to keep indoor and outdoor noise levels low to respect our neighbors and fellow guests. We appreciate it!
Extra Guests: Unfortunately, we don’t permit events or extra guests beyond what’s listed in your room’s capacity max. Please get in touch with us to approve any day guests.
